Original Tarot Spread: Conflict in a Friendship

Conflict in a Friendship Original Tarot Spread Our closest and most important friendships are those that have depth and permanence. Their strengths are in mutual trust, shared experience, respect, and support. But sometimes it is these friendships that can confuse us the most, or give us the most challenge. Like love relationships, friendships deserve our attention when conflicts arise. This spread deals with conflicts, whether obvious or not (an actual fight, or simply a perceived imbalance). It determines where the conflict lies, how each person in the friendship feels, and how two people can work together to bring a friendship back to harmony.
Uses 15 cards

Card One: What is the conflict? If there is no obvious conflict, this card will show where the imbalance in the friendship is, or the cause of disharmony.
Card Two: How the querent perceives the conflict.
Card Three: How the querent's friend perceives the conflict, if at all. Bear in mind the friend may not have any idea the querent feels there is a conflict. This card will show the friend's awareness.

Card Four: How does the querent feel about the friendship?
Card Five: What does the querent give to the friendship?
Card Six: What does the querent take from the friendship?

Card Seven: How does the friend feel about the friendship?
Card Eight: What does the friend give to the friendship?
Card Nine: What does the friend take from the friendship?

Cards Ten and Eleven show how the past influences the feelings of each person.
Card Ten: Past influences or unresolved issues; for the querent.
Card Eleven: Past influences or unresolved issues; for the friend.

Cards Twelve and Thirteen show the attitude or behavior that needs to change ...
Card Twelve: Querent's attitudes and behavior that need to change.
Card Thirteen: Friend's attitudes and behavior that need to change.

Card Fourteen: How can this conflict be resolved? How can the two friends come together?

Card Fifteen: What is the future of the friendship? This card will show the overall potential for the friendship. It is important to pay attention to this card, because it will show the essential strength of the friendship.
